Margaret's Work
"Drawing underpins much of my work, and I usually keep a small sketch book with me so that I can respond to whatever I find interesting, whether it is people, places, things or perhaps ideas for a picture.
I do fairly quick studies in pen which can then be developed later or be used as a starting point for a painting."
Working mainly in watercolour and pen, and occasionally with acrylics, Margaret uses artist quality paints and acid free paper – usually a ‘Fabriano’ block.
The finished picture is then double-mounted, with an acid-free board and with an acetate wrap for protection.
The price of her originals ranges from £180.00 to £1,200.00 and many of them have been published as Limited Edition Prints.
